Privacy Policy
Bright Future Adoption Foundation ("BFAF") is committed to protecting the confidentiality and security of personal information that you choose to provide to us. While it is impossible to guarantee that such information is or will be completely safe from unauthorized access or use, the following policy is intended to inform you of the steps we take to protect the information you choose to provide to us. We recommend that you carefully review this policy before providing us with your personal information.
COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
BFAF may collect personal information from you on the Site to facilitate the delivery of services or to provide you information you request. The information we request may include personally identifiable information such as your name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address. It is solely your choice whether or not you provide this personally identifiable information. However, should you choose not to provide the information, we may be unable to fulfill a service or display certain content on the Site.
Because BFAF considers the personally identifiable information we maintain to be confidential, our policy is to disclose no personally identifiable information gathered online to third parties unless release is required or permitted by law; the release is pertinent to judicial or government investigations or proceedings; or we have asked for and obtained your consent. In addition, BFAF may use third parties to manage its website or contact individuals on our behalf. In those instances, BFAF will provide these companies with the personal information they need to provide such services. BFAF will take commercially reasonable measures to require these companies to protect this personal information to the same standard BFAF does and to not use the information for any other purpose.
COLLECTION AND USE OF NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION
At the present time, BFAF does not track information about the visits to its Site or use cookies.
LINKS TO THIRD PARTY WEBSITES
Our Site may contain "links" to other websites. We try to link only to sites that share our high standards and respect for privacy. However, we cannot be responsible for the content or privacy practices employed by other sites. For this reason, we encourage you to review the privacy policies of these websites before disclosing any personal information to or through them.
CHILDREN
BFAF does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under 13 years old through its Site. BFAF does not currently allow children under 13 to register or participate in contests or promotions on the site. However, if the parent or guardian of a child under 13 believes that the child has provided us with personally identifiable information, the parent or guardian of that child should contact us if they want this information deleted from our files. If BFAF obtains knowledge that it has personally identifiable information about a child under 13 in retrievable form in its files, we will delete that information from our existing files. In addition, anyone under 18 years old should seek their parent’s or guardian’s permission prior to using or disclosing any personal information on the Site.
